MY PEOPLE Indian dolls

Gway-Gway!

Picture
Welcome to the virtual village of My People Nation of faceless Indian dolls, carved from wood, preserving a culture.  So many of our ancestors are represented by the faceless characters of My People.  My People are taken from  history and folklore of various North American Indian nations and some from nature itself.

No Face teaches us what is in our heart is far more important than how we look.  Learn the history of My People nation, customs and traditions of The First Peoples and about the artist herself.  * My People are now collected across the US and 6 foreign countries.

Grandparents were American Indian and I am proud of it.  Because records were lost, I am stating here these dolls are a non-Native American craft.
